We’re stepping forward with the latest Apple technologies by updating our minimum supported iOS version to iOS 17. This change allows us to build more powerful, secure, and future-ready apps—ensuring better performance and compatibility with current and upcoming devices.
This update aligns Spotlio apps with the latest iOS advancements. By focusing on iOS 17 and above, we can deliver a faster, more stable experience and take full advantage of modern capabilities like improved Bluetooth handling, animations, and privacy standards. This also reduces development complexity and ensures long-term support for the majority of active iPhone models.
Before: Apps supported devices running iOS 16 and earlier, allowing older iPhones to continue downloading and receiving updates.
After: The minimum supported version is now iOS 17, allowing us to deliver optimized, modern experiences for iPhone users. Devices below this threshold may continue to run existing installations but will no longer receive updates or improvements.
